Haha. You know we all love Avatar. I'm in love with Avatar's minor character depth. Really; it's amazing how characters who only appear in one or two episodes can become deep and interesting. Fandoms are usually predominantly about major characters, but Avatar focuses a lot on normal people who aren't heroes in contrast to the Avatar and the Gaang. I really like that about it. Wow, it's so strange discussing Avatar like this. (Probably because we're all from DH. =P)

I wonder when Avatar season 3 will start. From what I've heard, it won't be for a while. Aren't a lot of the reports saying it will air in fall or something?

The most recent report says October or later, I think.
But I'm not really complaining. (I seem to be the only one. xP) I want the show to last as long as possible, and since it only has three seasons, I think waiting for a while before the season 3 premiere is a smart move. But I'll admit waiting almost a year is a bit much.

I hope that the animation is like, AWESOME since we have to wait this long. Season 2's animation wasn't as good as season 1.

Avatar's animation has always been absolutely breathtaking to me; even if the quality dropped a bit in season 2.
I think it was just the animators in specific episodes--for example, the animation in The Blind Bandit was amazing, while the animation in The Chase wasn't quite as awesome.
But I'm amazed by Avatar's animation. There are hardly any speed lines as backgrounds (which I take as laziness), and there have never been double/triple/quadruple takes on moves. I'm extremely impressed. Animation like Avatar's is hard to come by.

Avatar always has amazing landscapes. That didn't change. And Avatar is American and we all know how lazy American animation can be.

I've come to the conclusion that most animation is lazy. =P Naruto (Japan), The X's (US), and Totally Spies (France) are three examples of shows with consistently lazy animation (Shippuden is impressing me so far, though. Amazing backgrounds.). I don't think the country of origin has anything to do with the quality of the animation. Fullmetal Alchemist (Japan), Avatar (US), and Martin Mystery (France) all have consistently non-lazy animation.

Yeah, there are some parts in Naruto where the animation could be better. Shippuuden is doing great, though. The Gaara/Deidara fight had wonderful animation. FMA was nearly perfect all the way through. I've noticed that series that last shorter, such as Chrono Crusade and FMA, tend to have better animation.
