So, I figure it's about time we can talk about or native culture. Personally, I'm half Cuban, so I speak English (fluently) and Spanish (somewhat fluently...I understand more than speak). My mom emigrated from Havana to Madrid to North Carolina and met my dad, who's got some Irish in him. Further back in my mother's history is very small traces of Chinese and (unconfirmed) possible traces of African. I'm also learning Portuguese (which I can read and translate very accurately) and Japanese (work in progress) and I'm going to learn Italian with my mother. What about you?

I speak English fluently, and a little bit of Spanish. I'm nowhere near fluent, though xD
And I plan on learning Japanese, though I doubt that'll happen.
As for culture, I'm half Polish, and a bit of Irish and Swedish. Wooplah.

I speak English fluently and Spanish reasonably well (though not near fluently) I want to learn Chinese and Japanese, but I doubt it'll ever happen.
And in terms of culture, I'm Eastern European (Polish, Lithuanian, Russian, etc), and very slightly Spanish (somehow).

I'd try to learn Mandarin if someone would be willing to teach me. xD
That's my only problem. But I do know how to say hello. xD

I am part Korean, part Hispanic, and part white. My dad is South Korean and grew up on a military base and my mother's side of the family came from Spain. The only thing I speak at the house is English but I'm learning Spanish.

I only speak English around the house, but I can somewhat speak Spanish. (I'm nowhere near fluent, but I've been taking Spanish since third grade.)
I'm quite boring and Western European. Mostly Scottish, with hints of English, Italian, and Swedish.

I suck at speaking Spanish. I do well in reading it, though.
English people are cool.

I'm Hispanic; half Mexican & half Puerto Rican. Sadly, I can't speak Spanish, but I can understand most of it.

^ I know what you mean.
One of my friends is Indian and her parents speak Hindi (or some language, not positive). But I was at her house for a study group once and her mom came down and started talking to her, telling her to clean her room over the weekend, etc, etc and suddenly she switches to Hindi. Throughout this whole thing, my friend is nodding and saying "yeah mom, I know," and doesn't even realize that her mom wasn't speaking English anymore. Meanwhile, my other friends and I are trying not to laugh. My friend doesn't speak a work of Hindi, but she understood her mom perfectly.

I speak English and I'm in my first year of French. I wish I could learn Latin, Spanish, German, Maidrian, Japanese, Hindi, and Italian. Don't I wish!?
I'm all dutch except I'm 12.5 percent French!
