infinitive --> yo form -->take off "o" --> add "a" for ir/er verbs, "e" for ar verbs
ex: Hablar -->hablo--> habl- --> hable
Or am I thinking of the wrong thing? *scratches head*

I know hable (accent on e) is the past tense, "I spoke"

Backwards, darkblood, amor. At least in present tense. In the Spanish dictionary, verbs are found in the infinitive form. Hablar=to talk Bailar=to dance Comer=to eat Vivir=to live Compartir=to share Amar=to love Entiender=to understand/comprehend For -ar verbs (an example) Hablar-->Habl-->Hablo. I speak. Hablar-->Habl-->Hables. You speak. Hablar-->Habl-->Hable. You (formal)/he/she speaks. Hablar-->Habl-->Hablamos. We speak. Hablar-->Habl-->Habláis. Y'all speak. (This is only used in Spain.)Hablar-->Habl-->Hablan. You all/they speak. For er and ir verbs, it's similar. Comer-->Com-->Como. I eat.* Comer-->Com-->Comes. You eat. Comer-->Com-->Come. You (formal)/he/she eats. Comer-->Com-->Comemos. We eat.Comer-->Com-->Coméis. Y'all eat. (Spain use)Comer-->Com-->Comen. You all/they eat. Compartir-->Compart-->Comparto. I share. Compartir-->Compart-->Compartes. You share. Compartir-->Compart-->Comparte. You (formal)/he/she shares. Compartir-->Compart-->Compartimos. We share.Compartir-->Compart-->Comparís. Y'all share. (Spain.)Compartir-->Compart-->Comparten. *This is where accents come to play in writing. If you write "como se dice" you will be saying "i eat do say". That makes no sense. So write "cómo" when saying how.

I'm more confused about what command forms you're asking for. Can you sort of explain or give an example of what you mean?

When one is commanding or telling someone to do something like, "Go to your room!" or something like that ^^; sorry if I'm not making sense.

^ No, she has present tense verbs. With tu commands, there is only one form for each verb (different form for ud.)
@empty -- I just checked with my bro (AP student) and he says that that's how you do it. So if you want to say "(you) clean the room!" it would be:
limpiar(to clean)-->limpio-->limpi-->limpie !Limpie el cuarto!
(I would have used the example you gave, but ir(to go) is irregular)
